Steve Lilley, Founder and CEO

Steve has more than 20 years of eDiscovery and legal compliance domain technology and process re-engineering expertise which he has applied both as a corporate executive and a consultant. As senior vice president of eDiscovery at iLumin Software Services, Inc., a division of Computer Associates, Inc., Steve led the architecture design, product development, and go-to-market strategy for the iLumin Assentor Electronic Discovery Solution (both software and e-discovery services). This solution produced $8 million in revenue and 135 customers within one year of its launch and was a key factor propelling the acquisition of iLumin by CA.

Prior to iLumin, Steve was founder and CEO of Data Imaging, Inc., a business he started in 1995 and rapidly grew into the largest legal discovery services company in the Southeast. In 2001, he negotiated a 10x return-on-capital merger with Document Technologies, Inc., with combined revenues exceeding $50 million. Earlier in his career, Steve held legal research product and sales management positions with Thomson West as the market morphed from text-based research to online research. He got his start in the Southwestern Company sales management training program, achieving Top Ten sales for seven consecutive years.

Steve holds a BA degree in Industrial Relations/Economics from the University of North Carolina and has been speaking and writing on the subject of litigation technology for more than 10 years.

Shawn Owens, Vice President of Technology

Shawn has more than 20 years of email, eDiscovery, archive, security, and legal compliance domain technology expertise which he has applied both as a corporate executive and as a consultant, working closely with Fortune 500 enterprise, ISPs, and University customers in management roles related to both pre and post sales roles. In recent years, Shawn has contributed to three Silicon Valley startups — Mirapoint, PostPath, ZL Technologies — to build successful technical field operations, develop industry leading products, establish repeatable technical processes, and architect & deploy solutions to meet the most complex requirements from some of the most demanding customers in the world. Shawn's most recent experience was with ZL Technologies, formerly ZipLip, where he most notably helped architect, train, and deploy a Fortune 100 Global Bank email retention/compliance project.

Prior to ZL, Shawn was Technical Operations Manager for PostPath. Responsibilities included building out the technical team, documentation, training, establish operational guidelines, etc. Shawn is credited with the company's first sale, City of Steamboat Springs Colorado, acting as both RSM and SE. In this role, Shawn worked primarily with Fortune 1000 enterprises, most notably AIG, Wachovia, Merrill Lynch, etc. Prior to PostPath, Shawn architected and deployed solutions at Mirapoint Inc. for companies such as Google and Cisco, as well as universities such as Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and San Diego State University.

Shawn studied Computer Science at Sierra College and the University of California, Berkeley.

Albert Pack, Business Development Manager

Albert has more than 19 years consulting and sales management experience in eDiscovery, legal compliance domain, and storage management technologies, working closely with Fortune 1000 corporate IT, Information Security and legal departments and with law firms. In his dual Business Development role with both WorkProducts and DS3 DataVaulting, Albert utilizes his background to educate the market on Evidence Lifecycle Management (ELM) and its role in filling the gap between content storage and eDiscovery/litigation support.

Albert is both an active manager and an investor in forward-thinking litigation technology businesses, growing both sales and return on investment. Prior to DS3DataVaulting/WorkProducts, Albert held numerous management positions with Kroll Ontrack, IKON Office Solutions and Document Services, Inc.
