WorkProducts Releases MatterSpace® Services Hosted Edition

Hosted version provides more flexibility and on-demand litigation responsiveness

Chantilly, VA – February 26th, 2009 – WorkProducts, Inc., architect of the MatterSpace Evidence Lifecycle Management (ELM) product for bridging the gap between information management and electronic data discovery, today announced the release of the MatterSpace Services Hosted Edition.

Being offered through leading MatterSpace Certified Partners such as IKON, CDW, DS3 DataVaulting, Prism Litigation Technology, Océ, CT TyMetrix, and ELM Solutions, the new product provides clients with all MatterSpace pre-configured server features offered as a managed hosted service. Law firms and MatterSpace® Certified Professionals can assist clients in sending hold notices, receiving custodian acknowledgements, scheduling custodian interviews, as well as additional identification and preservation activities. These processes occur while iteratively providing MatterSpace® data collection and early case assessment, including data processing, culling, reviewing, and producing relevant data. Detailed analysis and reporting to determine case-based risks and costs are available through such preservation management and data mapping.

MatterSpace Services Hosted Edition is ideal for companies that want a case-by-case solution offered in a managed hosted environment. In these situations, the MatterSpace appliance can be installed and operational in as little as a day, enabling companies to quickly respond to the needs of a specific legal matter. Services Hosted Edition is designed for WorkProducts alliance partners such as Certified MatterSpace eDiscovery providers, storage and content integrators, law firms, and consultants who are engaged by a client on a case-by-case basis and will bundle it with other services, such as deployment, data map consulting, preservation consulting, etc.

"With the burgeoning costs of litigation along with current environment conditions, the timing could not be better for a new strategy and solution for streamlining discovery management offered through certified expertise with the additional benefit of a pricing model that that creates a predictable budgetary event at the inception of a matter, rather than the conclusion," says Mandi Ross, CEO of Prism Litigation Technology.

"The new hosted edition provides our certified vendor partners and law firm clients with more flexibility when helping their clients prepare and effectively handle litigation and related discovery challenges," stated Steve Lilley, Founder & CEO of WorkProducts.

MatterSpace is an advanced, easy-to-install-and-use pre-configured server designed for companies facing numerous new law suits each year. These matters typically involve many data custodians to track and audit, along with growing amounts of electronically stored information (ESI) located in a wide variety of structured and unstructured data sources. MatterSpace accelerates this matter-specific ESI delivery by a factor of ten — with improved quality of results — while dramatically reducing the risks and costs of ESI processing and legal review. WorkProducts currently offers MatterSpace® Services Hosted Edition, MatterSpace® Services Edition, and MatterSpace® Enterprise Edition.
