Leading eDiscovery & Information Governance Counsel join Microsoft and WorkProducts for eDiscovery Roundtable at Annual CLM Conference

Session to Focus on Novel Evidence Lifecycle Management Approach for Early Case Assessment

Chantilly, Virginia - March 18, 2010 - WorkProducts, the revolutionary provider of the Microsoft® Office-based MatterSpace® ELM product for legal and IT professionals, announced today that the Company founder and a senior Microsoft executive have been selected to lead a roundtable discussion on eDiscovery during the annual conference of the Council on Litigation Management (CLM). The session, scheduled for Thursday, March 25th, takes place in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida where more than 600 corporate attorneys, risk managers, litigation support professionals and other executives in the litigation field will gather to discuss best practices. WorkProducts has been named a Gold sponsor of this prestigious event.

Steve Lilley, WorkProducts Founder and CEO will be joined by Jeff Jinnett, Esq. Microsoft Information Governance & Compliance Expert, to lead the panel. Other eDiscovery experts that will join them include nationally-known eDiscovery counsel, Michael Lackey, Esq. of Mayer Brown, and nationally-known information governance consultant, Peter Pepiton II, Esq.

The program will explore how a unique approach, Evidence Lifecycle Management (ELM), for the first time offers attorneys and their CIOs proper and complete identification, preservation and management of vital electronic information central to a specific legal dispute. Developed by WorkProducts as the process accompanying its Microsoft Office-based software, MatterSpace® ELM, the combination of the approach and the software greatly reduces the risk of overlooking critical digital content in civil litigation matters. It provides an iterative process for "try vs. settle" decisions throughout each phase, task and step in eDiscovery.

The panelists will discuss recent court cases and corporate examples of how the ELM process leverages the Microsoft Office infrastructure to provide a level of automation which eliminates the need for additional software.

"Our roundtable will also shed light on the current need for the general counsel's office and the IT department to have greater transparency and efficiency throughout each stage of the discovery process," said Steve Lilley, WorkProducts Founder and CEO. "We expect to generate significant discussion from the audience on the emerging best practices in leveraging an organization's investment in technology to satisfy eDiscovery compliance while reducing the time and cost to do so."

Interested executives that are unable to attend the conference can send an email to info@workproducts.com to request a copy of the presentation.
